Every profession needs two types of benchmark. The first is the benchmark of the skills that are needed to perform the related roles in that profession. CIQP is the initiative that will bring about that benchmark for the IDQ profession. Our Job Analysis survey will give a benchmark of the elements within the knowledge domains of CIQP and their relative importance to professionals at the ‘coal face’.

The second benchmark is a measure of the relative compensation received by professionals in that profession when compared with their peers. To that end, the IAIDQ and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) have this week launched a survey to capture information on the compensation and benefits packages that are available to IDQ professionals around the world.
